Anyway, when Ross originally set up a separate blog, one of my intentions was to start posting a uniform recognition series.  So, we will start at the top.

Seen here is General von Stewart, commander of the S-B army, his personal standard, and an aide de camp with a rolled dispatch or set of orders.  Note the red edging on the cuffs and coat turnbacks; this is a staff distinction not found in any of the line regiments.
